You don't have to tell me the town - I'm not trying to invade your privacy or anything!! I'm in the mid Willamette Valley.... 47.06 is an AWESOME time! I had started out straight jogging and was doing a 5k in about 51 minutes, but I hurt myself because I think I tried to do too much too soon! I gave it a rest for a week and then started up with a couch to 5k program. I have been doing the jogging parts at 4.5 (which feels more like running than jogging!) I'm not sure what kind of time to expect from a straight 5k but anything faster than 51 minutes would be SO exciting! You know - my friend once told men "You might be going slow, but you're lapping everyone on the couch!". Way to go for just doing it!!!Monicahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03193762555793943422noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3723205583048563721.post-41389072492740704482012-03-18T15:19:41.745-07:002012-03-18T15:19:41.745-07:00It was called iRun for Kids. Still Obese, 282.6, so I'm not moving too fast but it will be fun to see the time go down as I get healthier and stronger!Overhauling-Mehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17798621241441167543noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3723205583048563721.post-39701705852521464872012-03-18T14:40:12.007-07:002012-03-18T14:40:12.007-07:00Thanks! We learned the hard way not to put too much candy in the baskets - last year my son was on a psychotic sugar rush!!! We agreed on one small chocolate bunny (you know, the 98 cent dealios) and a handfull of jelly beans. Of course, I will still have to get one reese's peanutbutter egg. Katie - I'm as big of a peanutbutter nut as you are! :-PMonicahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03193762555793943422noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3723205583048563721.post-80367901295111666932012-03-18T12:33:13.956-07:002012-03-18T12:33:13.956-07:00Having a laid-back day like that sounds great to m...Having a laid-back day like that sounds great to me!
